Farmers missed out on fertilizer due to KCR's strategy
Hyderabad: Till a year ago, fertilizer was available whenever it rained. During KCR's rule, farmers used to go here and there to get bags of fertilizer. The situation has turned upside down within a year.KTR said. After the formation of the Congress government, queues started again for fertilizers. Farmers do not have the patience to stand for hours, and slippers and passbooks are seen in the queues. By the time the Telangana state was formed, farmers in the state were begging for fertilizers . There was a situation where they had to hold regular dharnas and protests for fertilizers.
Main focus on fertilizer waste management
Farmers used to be beaten with sticks. KCR, who took charge as CM in such circumstances, focused mainly on paying the fertilizer bill. He held reviews with the Agriculture Department officials for days. Thus, it was decided to implement an advance strategy to pay the fertilizer bill. In the united state, after the season began and the farmers started planting crops, they used to bring fertilizers from the center. KCR, on the other hand, instructed the officials to bring fertilizers from the center before the season began.
Immediate supply to farmers wherever they need it.
Several officials were specially sent to Delhi to bring fertilizers on time. They all stayed in Delhi for two to three days, talked to the officials there and brought the necessary fertilizers to the state. With this, the fertilizers required for the Yasangi season were brought in October and November and immediately sent to the mandal level and stored there. With this, wherever the farmers needed it, they were supplied immediately and there was no shortage. In addition, they accurately estimated how many acres would be cultivated and brought a little extra for that. KTR said that with this, there was no shortage .
